The design-build project of Terminal 2 at San Diego International Airport includes a 470,000 square foot, three-story expansion of the existing terminal adding ten new gates, a dual-level roadway, enhanced curbside check-in, a ticketing lobby, additional security screening lanes, baggage handling, seating areas, concessions and support space. The Terminal 2 Expansion is the first LEED Platinum certified commercial airport terminal in the world.
